Immigration Staff Attorney
Open PositionSocial Justice Collaborative is hiring an Immigration Staff Attorney to join our team. SJC is a California-based nonprofit defending the rights of low-income immigrants, primarily Central American community members fighting deportation. Each year, we represent hundreds of people in removal proceedings.
This role covers asylum, U/T visa, VAWA, and SIJS matters before EOIR, USCIS, and California state courts. The attorney will appear at hearings, ERO check-ins, and USCIS interviews.
SJC is horizontally structured, so attorneys work collaboratively as a team and no one carries a difficult case alone.
Salary: $70,000–$100,000/year, depending on experience and location.
Location / work structure: Hybrid — Bay Area preferred.
